Currently Open Positions

  • Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
  • Identify all tools required for tasks.
  • Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
  • Cut, thread, bend, and run conduit as specified on blueprints.
  • Install, modify and fabricate cable tray as necessary according to specifications.
  • Pull the cable through specified raceways.
  • Assemble and install electrical equipment.
  • Terminate wires and cable to electrical equipment such as but not limited to breakers, control panels, and distribution systems.
  • Test electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specifications.
  • Inspect electrical equipment and components to identify hazards and to ensure the equipment is in good operational condition.
  • Setup and maintain temporary power systems.
  • Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot basic electrical solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must have 1+ years of experience as a Journeyman Industrial Electrician.
  • Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below).
  • Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
  • Must be able to work at heights in excess of 10 ft.
  • Must be able to use all tools (which are provided by us).
  • Must have Electrical Apprentice License at a minimum.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass random drug tests.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and schematics proficiently to perform duties.
  • Must be able to demonstrate former knowledge and experience working on low and medium voltage systems (480V max).
  • Must have worked as an Industrial electrical helper or as an Industrial Electrician for a minimum of 4 years.
  • Must know basic electrical theory for example but not limited to ohms law.
  • Must be able to install and modify cable tray using hand tools and power tools.
  • Must be able to bend and cut conduit using hand saws, hand tube bending equipment as well as power and hydraulic cutting and tube bending devices.
  • Must be proficient in cable pulling methods use to run the cable through specified pathways.
  • Must be able to use specialized electrical tools such as but not limited to ohm meters, multi-meters, and terminating devices.
  • Must be able to terminate both High and low voltage equipment and cable/wiring.
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge of components relative to the Oil and Gas Industry is preferred.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot equipment and systems for electrical malfunctions.
  • Must be able to identify different types, gauges, and color of cables and wires.
  • Must be able to follow instructions correctly.
  • Must be reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing administrative processes.
  • Must be able to illustrate knowledge and experience of working with a lock out tag out system.
  • Must be willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.
  • Must be able to make it to work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notification.
  • Must have a state journeyman electrician license, or working towards one.

 

  • PLC installation, troubleshooting, and programming
  • Perform installation, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of automation equipment
  • Apply expertise for installation, calibration, maintenance, and repairs of instrumentation, communication, and electrical equipment
  • Execute planned maintenance checks and calibration and timely submits appropriate reports
  • Maintain current and accurate documentation of maintenance activities and daily work orders
  • Minimize downtime and unsafe conditions by performing preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Maintain technical and administrative records, including prints and project reports
  • Create and modify spreadsheets and other reports for each job
  • Follow company energy isolation procedures (LOTO) Provide daily operational support for existing automation systems.
  • Work closely with Engineering, and Operations to ensure our automation systems are being developed to established standards.
  • Implement modification based on control narrative and C&E information.
  • Work closely with O&M groups to ensure the efficient and reliable delivery of fully functional and maintainable systems, as well as provide expertise for ongoing operational support
  • Collaborate with internal techs and external customer(s) to determine operational needs and requirements of our systems.
  • Implement projects, including engineering oversight, task management, and implementing lessons learned, found during project execution.
  • Position will require travel (less than 10%)

 

  • Sufficient field experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 1+ years of automation experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in the automation field
  • Design/analysis experience with various software types (Allen Bradley, Redlion, ABB, SCADAPack, IDEC, Automation Direct, Modicon.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings (i.e., P&ID’s, C&E’s)
  • Problem solving – the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully
  • Communication – the individual speaks and writes clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentations skills and conducts meetings.
  • Building Effective Teams – create strong morale and spirit within the team, shares wins and successes, fosters open dialogue, defines success in terms of the whole team, and creates feeling of belonging in the team.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Must be able to use specialized electrical tools such as but not limited to ohm meters, multi-meters, and terminating devices.
  • Able to lift more than 50 lbs. and climb ladders and stairways.

  • Design/analysis experience in HMI/PLC/automation design
  • In depth knowledge and project design experience with HMI/PLC systems with end to end responsibility.
  • In depth knowledge with Allen Bradly PLCs, Controllogix, Compactlogix, and micrologix1400.
  • In depth knowledge with other PLCs, (IDEC, Modicon, SCADAPack)
  • In depth knowledge of industry standard HMI software and platforms –Rockwell FactoryTalk.
  • In depth knowledge of programming languages, UI design, databases
  • Highly organized individuals capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong technical writing skills for the development of design standards and specifications
  • Ability to collaborate as a team and act as a team leader in a group of cross functional engineers
  • User knowledge with AutoCAD, MS Office, and Excel
  • Knowledge of electrical design, materials and methods installation.
  • Experience with communication equipment (Cell Modems, Radios, Network Switches, etc…)
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge of components relative to the Oil and Gas Industry
